Sewol Protests, Abroad

Sewol Protests, Abroad

On April 16, 2014 the MV Sewol (세월호 침몰 사고) sank en route from Incheon to Jeju Island, South Korea. Of the 476 passengers – most of them high school students – 304 died. A lacking response from the government and no independent investigation into the accident has led South Koreans to stage protests, also outside of Korea.
